Collaboration vs. Competition for a Successful and Sustainable Doula Business (Pre-Con Track B)

Pre-Conference Track B: Session One

It doesn’t have to be a doula-eats-doula world out there! Join The Doula Darcy and Advanced Postpartum Doula & Postpartum Doula Trainer, Krista Maltais, who have been collaborating together for more than 13 years, as they share proven methods for doula collaboration opportunities. This session will provide session participants with an understanding of how beneficial a collaborative business model can be for professional growth and sustainability.

Darcy and Krista will outline how participants can identify, approach, and engage potential community collaborators that align with their professional goals. This session will also explore how to leverage collaborations to generate more doula clients and raise awareness of the benefits of doula support in the participant’s community.

Participants will engage in thought-provoking activities and determine strategies to jump-start their collaborative efforts before leaving their conference session.

Pre-Conference Info:

Participants may choose either Track A or Track B. All three sessions in the respective track are included for the add-on registration fee of $99 ($125 late). If all 3 sessions in the track are attended, 6 contact hours will be awarded.
