Oh the Places You’ll Go: From Community Roots to Endless Heights

In this session we will learn about how the Alabama Prison Birth Project utilizes a community based approach to addressing pregnancy and incarceration by listening to the needs of incarcerated pregnant people in their state and responding to those needs. We will also explore how to identify unique needs in your own communities and how to create solutions using your knowledge as doulas and community members, to create lasting and impactful change. This session qualifies for 1.0 (DONA/DEI/CA-BRN) contact hours.
