Atoosa Benji is a proud mother and grandmother who has dedicated her life to empowering birthing people and families at every stage of their reproductive journeys. She earned her degree in Sociology from UCLA and began her career in birth work as a Childbirth and Lactation Educator and a DONA Certified Birth Doula. With over two decades of experience, Atoosa is now a Licensed Midwife after completing her Midwifery degree and earning recognition as a Licensed Midwife from the Medical Board of California.
In her private practice, Atoosa provides compassionate care in home and birth center settings, supporting births and offering well-person care. She is also passionate about educating middle school girls on puberty and body choices, fostering confidence and knowledge in the next generation.
As a speaker and host of the Mamatoosa podcast, Atoosa shares the inspiring stories of women, exploring their journeys from birth and beyond. Her dedication to education, advocacy, and empowering individuals to make informed choices shines through in every aspect of her work.
