Patricia Predmore RN, BSN, MSN

Patricia E. Predmore is a former DONA Birth Doula Mentor, DONA Birth Doula Trainer, Dona Certified Birth Doula and DONA Director of Education. During her tenure, Patricia facilitated the development of the doula program and the training manuals for both DONA Birth Doula Trainers and Birth Doulas. She consulted on the DONA Postpartum manuals. She worked closely Penny Simkin, the other doula mentors, doula trainers and the DONA Founders to create quality training opportunities.

Her passion for teaching led Patricia to advance her career as a maternal health nurse educator at Rochester, NY area colleges teaching nurses and allied health professionals at the associate and bachelor level. As an Associate Professor at the Finger Lakes College of Nursing she was charged with enhancing the program by introducing interactive learning opportunities and revising the maternal child health curriculum and clinical experience. Additionally, she was an adjunct professor at SUNY Monroe Community College and Keuka College.

Her passion for childbearing year is clearly reflected in her business name, Birth Matters!
