Continuing Education

The DONA International Summit is one way we continue to provide the highest standard of evidence-based training and education to our members. The summit qualifies as formal continuing education for doula recertification and trainer reapproval with DONA International as well as most other childbirth certification organizations. The 2025 virtual keynotes offer the opportunity to earn 8 continuing education hours.

Lamaze International, International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA), and most other childbirth certification organizations accept DONA International contact hours for continuing education. However, it is the individual registrant’s responsibility to ascertain whether this offering meets the requirements of their certifying organization. The registrant must attend a session in its entirety to receive continuing education credit for that session.

As part of our offering to exhibitors and sponsors, we share contact lists (names and email addresses) with conference vendors. Attendees can opt out during registration if desired.

Recordings

Video and/or audio recording of any session is strictly prohibited. Professional audio recordings may become available after the conference. Your attendance at this conference indicates your willingness to be photographed, filmed or recorded and utilized by DONA International for educational and informational purposes.

We are excited about live tweeting, Instagramming, Facebook posting, and other social media activities with #DONA2025. Remember, the goal is to provide a snippet or flavor of the session and not be a virtual session. We kindly ask that you keep this in mind as you post.

DONA International reserves the right to substitute or cancel speakers and/or sessions.
